The Hohner Meisterklasse is one of the new Hohner MS Diatonic Series. "The initials MS stand for Modular System, an integral concept in harmonica design from Hohner. It consists of a coordinated system which allows for improved playing and handling and simplified maintenance. This modular concept also enables the player to customize the instrument to suit specific tonal or performance needs.

Modular Conception	All components (comb, reedplate and covers) are assembled with screws and are interchangeable with all Hohner diatonic MS models. All components may be purchased individually.
Design	New dimensions and new cover design improves the ergonomic handling, enhances the tonality and ensures the stability and integrity of the instrument.

This finely designed and manufactured harmonica is in the key of D. The Hohner Meisterklasse is available in all major keys. Other keys can be accessed from our Harmonica Index. Dane Clarke personally tests and performs any necessary adjustments and fine tuning on every MandoHarp harmonica sold. We will have further postings of quality Harmonicas just as soon as we can get the listings constructed.

About the Tester

Dane is a professional systems engineer, academic and musician who has played harmonica for over forty years. He currently sings and plays harmonica, mandolin, mandola etc. with a celtic/folk/blues band, Headland and a celtic/gypsy band, The Gypsy Tarts. Dane has researched and practiced instrument maintenance, repair and tuning in earnest for the last five years or so (since retiring from full-time professional work), and during this time has often been privileged to meet and learn from some of Australia's premier artists and technicians. On the qualifications side of things, Dane has undergraduate degrees in Engineering and Business, and post-graduate qualifications in Information Technology and Education. He works as a part-time engineer and academic these days, and though he loves teaching computer engineering he enjoys himself much more when working on instruments and playing music!
