          | "This new beautifully inlaid F5-style mandolin was designed by Antoniotsai. It was hand inlaid with several hundred pieces of abalone and mother-of-pearl by a renowned luthier on Tony's workshop team. Antoniotsai is an internationally-renknowned Taiwanese inlay artist and luthier. He is also a master repairman and restore of museum pieces. This mandolin has a beautifully bright, sweet sound with plenty of volume. This instrument is hand made of solid woods No plywood is used in its construction and only the finest materials were used in its construction. No compromises were made, no corners were cut. We strive to make every instrument's voice loud, clear, and distinctive. This can only happen with solid wood instruments. Please be aware that solid wood instrument are highly sensitive to changes in humidity, temperature and to any sort of trauma (impact). They should be placed in their case anytime they are not being played." (from Antoniotsai product information) | |
